Potato-Carrot Chappati


An easy Chapati with  much goodness in them.

Serves – 2           Time taken from start- 45 min.

Ingredients

1. atta – 1 cup
luke  warm water- 3/4 cup(to knead the atta)
2. ginger- 1/2 inch
green chilly -5
corriander leaves-a handful
3. potato – 1
carrot,shredded- 1
corriander powder- 1/2 tsp

Method

Step 1    Prepare the dough for the Chappati.

Step 2     Cook the potato, peel it and smash it. Shred the carrot.  Blend the ingredients in no.2 in a mixer.

Step 3  Mix the potato,carrot and the blended mixture and add the corriander powder.

Step 4  Now part the dough into 4 equal parts.

Step 5   Using a rolling-pin, roll out the dough into a thin, round patty.IMG_3966

Step 6 Now spread the mixture prepared in Step 3.

Step 7   Next, fold it.

Step 8  In the pre-heated skillet, cook the chapati, turning both sides.

Can be served with raita.
