Rava Kesari


Serves-2          Time for preparation – 15 mins.
Rava Kesari
Ingredients
rava (Sooji) – 1/2 cup
sugar – 1/2 cup
ghee – 3  tablespoon
boiled water – 1 cup
Cashewnut,chopped – 1 tablespoon
vanilla essence – 2-3 drops
Method
Step 1    Heat ghee and roast cashews till golden brown and set aside.

Step 2   In the same pan, roast the rava in low flame until nice aroma comes.

Step 3  Add 1 cup of hot water part by part to the rava, stirring continuously.

Step 4  Once the rava is cooked add sugar, now it will start to loosen keep stirring continuously.

Step 5  Add nuts and  vanilla essence, give a stir and switch off .
