Aval Nanachathu


A quick, delicious, rich and perfect snack for the evening.

Ingredients

Brown or white Aval / Pressed Rice or Poha Thin  – 2 cups
Coconut,gratted – 1 cup
Jaggery/sharkkara – 1/2 cup, grated

Method

Combine the ingredients well using your fingers until the rice flakes are soft and wet, about 5 – 6 minutes. Keep aside for 30 minutes. Serve with sliced banana.
