Pork Vindaloo and its Misconception !!!

Firstly, Pork Vindaloo  is not originally an Indian dish at all as we  i  had thought. It was brought in by the Portuguese traders who settled in Goa .  It is called in Portuguese, Carne de Vinha d’ Alhos; vinha for wine, alhos for garlic.  The result should be a sweet and sour dish which we get  from the  onions (sweetness) and the  vinegar (sourness ).

It is the one of the favorites of my family except me but  occasionally i also munch on these. :)

This is the first time i am preparing the dish …and of course the recipe source is my amma (mother).
