Rice in Lettuce Leaf

A quick and easy fix for the main dish.


1.  basmati rice -2 cups
2.  oil – 2 tbsp
3.  green chilly, chopped – 4
garlic, chopped – 4
4.  chicken sausage, finely chopped – 4
salt – as required
pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
5.  red capsicum, chopped fine – 1/2 cup
celery, chopped fine – 1/4 cup
6.  soya sauce – 1/2 tsp
7.  water -4 cups
ghee -1/2 tsp


Boil the rice in water with ghee and salt.
Once boiled, strain the water (if any) from the rice, and spread it on a plate.
Heat oil in a pan and saute green chilly and garlic for 1 minute.
Into this, add the fourth item. Saute for another 5 minutes.
Next, add rice, stir for a while and then add in the capsicum and celery.
Serve in Lettuce leaf.
