Fish Curry in Coconut Milk


Ingredients

1.fish-salmon/any other big fish-1/2 kg
shallots,sliced-4
ginger,crushed-1/2 inch
green chillies,slit-6
curry leave-a sprig
salt-as required
red chilly powder-2 teaspoon
corriander powder-4 teaspoon
turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
2. kudampuli-3/4
3. coconut milk-1 cup (diluted)

For seasoning

shallots,sliced-4
oil

Method

Wash the fish pieces with water.
Soak the kokum in luke warm water for about 10-15 minutes.
Meantime in a skillet,add all the ingredients stated under number’1′.
Put in the kokum and the water.pour in the coconut milk(in low flame).keep for about 15 minutes.
Next,season the dish with shallots fried(just needs to brown a little) in oil.
