Poori


Poori is nothing but Indian fried flat bread. It is a breakfast item which is usually accompanied with Channa masala or potato curry. It is simple and easy to make.

Ingredients serves 2

Wheat flour ½ Cup
All Purpose Flour (maida) -1/2 Cup
Salt to Taste
Oil- 2 Tbsp. + for Deep Frying.
Warm water – To knead the dough

Method 

Mix Flour, oil & salt, by hand.Knead well by adding water to make hard dough.
Cover it with a wet cloth. Heat oil for Deep Frying.Divide the roll into lime sized balls. Roll each to disc/circular shape.Deep fry pooris in hot oil for a minute. Turn side & fry till puffed & golden in color.
